Extra Hacks is a modern baseball training academy built on the idea that every player should become their own best coach. Their process emphasizes experimentation, feedback, and self-guided improvement in a supportive, penalty-free environment. The objective of this project was to create a brand identity that reflected Extra Hacks’ innovative approach while preserving the grit and confidence of the sport. The design drew inspiration from old-school baseball logos and mascots, bringing a sense of tradition and energy while giving it a sharper, modern edge. I designed a bold, athletic wordmark logo and developed supporting logomarks and lockups to provide flexibility across applications. Clean typography and a focused color palette were chosen to communicate clarity and discipline, aligning with the academy’s philosophy of building smarter, more self-reliant players. The full identity package included a comprehensive brand guidelines booklet that outlined logo usage, type, and color standards. This ensured consistency across digital platforms, training resources, and promotional materials, giving Extra Hacks a scalable system as they expand both online and in-person programs.
